Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with combined expertise in DevOps, Infrastructure Management, Cybersecurity, and Data Protection compliance (DPDP Act).
The ideal candidate will manage cloud/on-prem infrastructure, automate deployments, ensure high availability, safeguard systems and applications, and enforce strong data protection and security controls aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), ISO 27001, SOC2, and internal governance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps

  • Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins).
  • Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Optimize deployment processes, system performance, observability, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams for smooth and secure release cycles.

Infrastructure Management

  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).
  • Maintain servers, networking, firewalls, load balancers, and storage systems.
  • Ensure availability, scalability, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
  • Perform regular backups, disaster recovery (DR) planning, and patch management.
  • Troubleshoot system/network issues ensuring minimal downtime.

Cybersecurity

  • Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, and penetration testing coordination.
  • Manage identity and access controls (IAM, RBAC, MFA, SSO).
  • Monitor security events and logs using SIEM tools; respond to alerts and incidents.
  • Harden servers, endpoints, networks, and application environments.
  • Ensure compliance with global and Indian security regulations (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).

Data Protection & Compliance (DPDP Act)

  • Implement controls aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, ensuring lawful storage, processing, and transfer of personal data.
  • Enforce data minimization, purpose limitation, retention policies, and secure disposal of personal data.
  • Work with Security & Legal teams to ensure compliance with Data Principal rights (consent, access, correction, erasure).
  • Maintain audit trails, data flow documentation, and system-level logs as required by DPDP.
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive/critical personal data through encryption, masking, tokenization, and secure access controls.
  • Support Data Protection Officer (DPO) during audits, DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments), and compliance reviews.
  • Implement breach detection, incident response, and timely notification mechanisms as mandated by DPDP.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows administration and networking (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible.
  • Proficiency in AWS/GCP/Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience with security tools: SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Vulnerability Scanners.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Scripting expertise in Bash, Python, PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of encryption, IAM, secure coding practices, and compliance frameworks.

Good to Have:

  • Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP, RHCE, CEH, CISSP, Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
  • Experience with ELK, Splunk, or similar log analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and API security.
  • Exposure to data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Dev, Security, Legal, and Infra teams.
